What is seating like at the Alberta Rose Theatre?
The Alberta Rose is a General Admission venue with fixed seating on a slightly sloped floor making the stage easily seen from all seats. For any ADA or other special seating accommodations, please email ahead of time with your concerns and needs at house@albertarosetheatre.com. Most chairs have fixed arms, but others do not and the arrangement changes depending on the event. We prefer to work with you on a individual basis to reserve the appropriate space for each person’s specific needs. Please try to reach out at least a week prior to your event when possible.
Is the theater wheelchair accessible? Yes. Please email us (house@albertarosetheatre.com) ahead of time when you’ll be attending a show and we’ll reserve a space for you and your companions. We have two ADA accessible bathrooms that are immediately to your right as you enter – there is one bathroom on that far end of the bar that will NOT fit a wheelchair.
Are food and beverages available at the Alberta Rose Theatre?
Yes. We serve Australian style hand pies, snacks, and sweets, alongside a full bar, non-alcoholic drinks, coffee and tea.
Can I bring my own food and drink to the Alberta Rose Theatre? No outside food or drink is allowed inside the theater. This includes personal water bottles/canteens. We have a free water station at the bar.
Is smoking allowed at the Alberta Rose Theatre?
The Alberta Rose is a smoke-free environment. We do allow patrons to leave and re-enter the building to smoke. No open containers are allowed outside, you will be asked to leave any purchased beverages inside until you return.
What are parking options?
There is free, unlimited street parking around the theatre. You should be able to find a spot within a block or so.
Does the Alberta Rose Theatre allow audio and video taping? What about cameras?
We do not allow video taping. We do not allow audio taping unless the artist approves. We do not allow cameras unless artist approves, and when approved, flashes are not allowed as they disrupt the artist and disrupt the patrons. Please call ahead before bringing any equipment.
