The award-winning singer-songwriter makes her first appearance on the Alberta Rose Theatre stage. She is esteemed for her imaginative interpretations of traditional and contemporary folk standards and her own poetically poignant original compositions. Her stunning rendition of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” from her landmark 1967 album, Wildflowers, has been entered into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Judy’s dreamy and sweetly intimate version of “Send in the Clowns,” a ballad written by Stephen Sondheim for the Broadway musical A Little Night Music, won “Song of the Year” at the 1975 Grammy Awards. She’s garnered several top-ten hits gold- and platinum-selling albums. Contemporary and classic artists such as Rufus Wainwright, Shawn Colvin, Dolly Parton, Joan Baez, and Leonard Cohen honored her legacy with the album Born to the Breed: A Tribute to Judy Collins.

All ticket holders are required to show proof of full COVID vaccination. This means that ticket holders have received their final vaccination dose of either the two-dose regimen of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or one dose of Johnson & Johnson at least 14 days prior to the event date. A negative covid test will not be accepted for entry. Please get boosted if eligible.
Also, in accordance with state and local guidelines, face masks are required for entry. Masks must completely cover nose and mouth. Gaiters and bandanas are not acceptable. Please wear a high-filtration efficiency mask with a tight fit to the face, such as a KN95 or N95.
Masks must be worn at all times except while actively eating or drinking. Prolonged periods of mask removal are not permitted for eating or drinking—masks must be worn between bites and sips.
Children ages 4 and under, for whom there is currently no vaccine available, are not permitted to attend. Ages 5 and up must provide proof of a full course vaccination. This means 14 days have passed since the completed vaccination.
Please do not attend the show if you are feeling sick in any way. We will exchange or reschedule your ticket.
The mandate stipulates that performers in live theater events are not required to be masked. In most cases, our performers will not be masked. Depending on the audience size, distancing may not be possible.
