With “a voice like a beacon of hope” (Seattle Times), Portland’s very own singer, songwriter, and fast rising star, Jimmie Herrod, takes the Alberta Rose stage for a one-of-a-kind homecoming performance to kick off his forthcoming new album release tour!
The definition of a rising star with a high tenor voice like no other, Herrod made millions of fans through his dramatic performances on the NBC reality competition show “America’s Got Talent,” and has taken the entertainment world by storm, appearing on stage, screen, and major venues around the world, including as a soloist with orchestra, at jazz festivals and cabaret venues, and on nationally broadcast concerts.
This performance features Jimmie and a top-shelf jazz ensemble previewing selections from his forthcoming album of musical theatre meets jazz titled “Pretty is What Changes,” as well as originals and covers in a special night of musical connections, creativity, and community.
