Willy Porter with special guest Jenner Fox

Searching for the shaman that lives inside the guitar has led Willy Porter on a musical and personal odyssey spanning over two decades, 10 albums, and multiple continents. His journey remains defined by an independent drive to evolve as a musician and human, affording him the freedom to create the next song on his own terms. Equally accomplished as a guitarist, singer, and songwriter, Porter’s songs weave a universal perspective about the questions, struggles, and triumphs of human existence. His live shows are guitar-driven events–equal parts grit, soul, and muscle–that are electrifying, dynamic, and wholly original in the way that Porter’s voice blends and fuses with his virtuoso fret work.Jenner Fox opens the show.$25 Advance$30 At the Door Minors ok with Parent or Guardian The Alberta Rose Theater will no longer be requiring masks or proof of vaccination for entry (effective March 12th [masks] and March 20th [proof of vaccine]). Mother Hips • Ashleigh Flynn & the Riveters

The Mother Hips caught their first big break when they were still students at Chico State, when legendary producer and industry icon Rick Rubin signed the band to his American Recordings label. In the decades to come, the group would go on to release ten critically acclaimed studio albums and cement themselves as architects of a new breed of California rock and soul, one equally informed by the breezy harmonies of the Beach Boys, the funky roots of The Band, and the psychedelic Americana of Buffalo Springfield. Hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle as “one of the Bay Area’s most beloved live outfits,” the group’s headline and festival performances became the stuff of legend and helped earn them dates with everyone from Johnny Cash and Wilco to Lucinda Williams and The Black Crowes. Rolling Stone called the band “divinely inspired.”Portland rockers Ashleigh Flynn & the Riveters open the show.$25 Advance$30 At the Door Fully vaccinated minors ok when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
