Laurie Lewis & the Right Hands • Kristen Grainger & True North

The San Francisco Bay Area bluegrass veteran Laurie Lewis is often described as a triple threat: she is a powerful vocalist in the high-lonesome mold, a songwriter who has bridged the gap between contemporary ideas and traditional song styles, and a championship-level fiddler. Forging a solo career with a series of album releases under her own name beginning in the mid-1980s, Lewis has also been noted for her ongoing collaborations with other musicians. She has been especially influential among women in bluegrass, an underrepresented group on bluegrass stages before she came along. KRISTEN GRAINGER & TRUE NORTH is a bluegrass-infused Americana powerhouse of terrific songwriting, lush vocals and crazy-good instrumentalists.  Fronted by singer-songwriter Kristen Grainger, the band is comprised of multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Dan Wetzel and Pacific Northwest bluegrass superstars Martin Stevens (mandolin, octave mandolin, fiddle, vocals) and Josh Adkins (upright bass, vocals), both formerly of the Bluegrass Regulators.   $22 Advance$26 At the Dor Minors ok when accompanied by a parent or guardian.Review our Health & Safety Policies HERE

John Gorka

John Gorka is perhaps the quintessential iconic singer-songwriter of the 80’s folk scene. Hailing from New Jersey, but forged in the Greenwich Village Fast Folk scene, he honed his craft and persona into an unmistakable image. The shy, wry, insightful, and yes, sensitive singer-songwriter has been copied and parodied. But the old coat he wove still fits, and still suits him well. The old songs ring as true as they ever did, and the new ones are just as good. Tickets: $25 Advance$30 At the Door Vaccinated minors ok when accompanied by a parent or guardian. At the request of John Gorka, all attendees will need to provide proof of full course vaccination for entry to this event. He also requests that everyone please wear a mask while inside.
