**POSTPONED**Storybook Endings: A Night of Music, Circus, & Burlesque – presented by Myrrh Larsen and Booklover’s Burlesque

THIS SHOW IS BEING RESCHEDULED.Please stand by for the new date, which will be announced very soon. Thanks for your patience.Multidisciplinary Song Saga creator Myrrh Larsen (The Steep and Thorny Way to Heaven, Piece of Me, Grey Gold: A New Myth of Persephone and Hades) and Lacy Knightly of Lacy Productions (Booklover’s Burlesque, A Burly Carol, Belle Supper Club) join forces to bring you a night of music, story, and performance in an extravagant double-feature Storybook Endings: A Night of Music, Circus, and Burlesque! Join Myrrh Larsen for a special early-access peek at their upcoming multidisciplinary narrative rock show At The End of Everything. Showcasing six breathtaking circus and dance pieces performed to a live musical set, we follow the storylines of three classic fairy tales from the perspective of the characters within them, brought to life through all new original songs featuring Myrrh Larsen and their band. Including narration by Madame D’Aulnoy (Megan Skye Hale – Speculative Drama, Vespertine Ball) guides us through this one-hour set combining spectacle, song, and storytelling to grapple with themes of transformation, loss, and the meaning of “endings”. Afterward, accompany Madame D’Aulnoy to her private parlour for an evening salon of fairy tales, fantasies, and a feast of flesh! Taking the stage for a series of readings and burlesque performances following Lacy Knightly’s award winning Booklover’s Burlesque format, this sparkling afterparty of storybook magic highlights the work and life of Madame D’Aulnoy – a predecessor to Perrault whose literary and folk tale salons paved the way for generations of folklorists and fairy tale authors to come. Matching titillating, inspiring, and empowering book readings with burlesque performances all in one show as readers perform excerpts from D’Aulony’s fairy tales, immediately followed by a scintillating burlesque performance based on those excerpts. General admission tickets include first-come first-served seating to both performances, or upgrade to Preferred Seating for just $40. Want a glimpse behind the scenes? VIP All-Access tickets include priority seating, a signed poster, and access to an exclusive invite-only rehearsal performance of our At The End of Everything excerpt on Tuesday January 30th, including a meet and greet with performers and producers from both Storybook Endings shows.
