Kimo Camat presents Kiki’s Delivery Service of Sexy Sweaty Summer Lovin’
“Let me sit this ass on ya…” Kiki’s Delivery Service of Sexy Sweaty Summer Lovin’, curated by local actor/singer Kimo Camat, is an electrifying concert that promises to be a transformative celebration of intimacy, self-discovery, and the profound connections we share with those we love and with those we invite into our beds. This hot end of summer concert invites the audience to embark on a voyage of personal awakening, encouraging us to feel at home in our bodies and embrace the sensuality that lies within through music and some spoken word. Fusing Funk, Neo Soul, and a dash of Musical Theatre, KIKI will take you to sonic heights with soulful covers as well as premiering their own original pieces. Serving as somewhat of a “Part Two” to their February show, Kiki’s Delivery Service of Love Songs & Heartbreak, this concert delves into the myriad ways we connect with one another, highlighting the beauty and complexity of our bumbling beautifully built bodies. These tales of intimacy and passion are told with a raw honesty that is both moving and hilarious, celebrating the liberating magic that happens when we open our hearts, souls, and holes to others. Kiki’s Delivery Service of Sexy Sweaty Summer Lovin’ is a celebration of sexual awakenings and self love. It invites us to let go of our inhibitions, to dance with abandon, and to revel in the beauty of our own bodies and throw caution to the wind. Whether he’s sweating onstage at the mic, dishonoring his family on his knees at Blowpony, or platonically flirting with everyone he meets, KIKI has learned to embrace and confess his love to every swerve and curve on his body. Kimo Camat has had the privilege to spend the last 16 years creating art on stage and has found solace in singing and performing. His band includes Mak Kastelic (piano), Joseph Mammarella (guitar), Juliet Terrill (bass), Paul Van Sickle (drums), Peter QB (saxophone), Christina Avellan Mantilla / Madeleine Tran / Xander Dean (backing vocals). The Stinkfoot Orchestra featuring Napoleon Murphy Brock

As the iconic front man for Frank Zappa’s most infamous 1970’s ensemble, Napoleon Murphy Brock helped breathe life into many of Frank’s most enduring compositions over the course of 4 albums including what many consider Zappa’s greatest live release, Roxy and Elsewhere. Decades later, the Grammy Award-winning San Jose native’s voice and performance is as strong as ever. Still boasting a 4-octave range, Brock’s voice brings an immediate sense of familiarity to the music of the Stinkfoot Orchestra.Employing a 6-piece horn section, tuned percussion and 4 vocalists, this ensemble pulls no punches – delivering the intricacies and eccentricities of Frank’s music with power, authenticity and musical prowess. That said, no Zappa concert would be complete without a healthy dose of Frank’s sardonic wit – and the Stinkfoot Orchestra does not skimp on this vital ingredient. Incorporating props, costumes, stage vignettes and audience participation, the band goes the extra mile with every performance to create a complete entertainment experience that leaves even the pickiest Zappa fan pining for more.If you were able to catch one of their previous performances in Portland with either Napoleon or Ike Willis, you know to expect a different show each time (and you also know what an amazing show to expect). If you missed them on their first two trips through town, don’t make the same mistake a third time. “The Stinkfoot Orchestra with Napoleon Murphy Brock admirably delivered all the musical virtuosity, compositional non-conformity, and satire of American culture that Frank Zappa distilled within his extensive oeuvre. The impression left upon driving home from this experience was one of deep appreciation mixed with laughter and amazement.” – Ted Silverman, Jambase $25 Advance$30 At the DoorMinors ok with parent/guardianReview our Health & Safety Policies HERE
