SweetJuice 25th Anniversary Reunion Show

Adam East and Kris Deelane formed the band SweetJuice as the full-tilt electric rock extension of their musical partnership shortly after landing in Portland, OR in the late 90’s.  They quickly landed a weekly residency at The Green Room, where they established their reputation as one of the most exciting bands in town.  Their debut album was recorded live there and was celebrated for its incisive songs and raw sound.Over the years, members of the band included Lewi Longmire, Michael Dean Damron, Daisy Tortilla, Paul Summers, Jr., Matt Kramer, and Dave Schwanke, among others.This reunion features the classic lineup of Adam and Kris with Tim Herms on bass and vocals and Jason Mockley on drums.Special guests include Heidi Shuler, WendySue Rosloff, Daisy Tortilla and Vic Wayne from Star Collector!Tickets: $20 Advance$25 At the DoorThis will be a partially-seated show so you can dance!Minors ok when accompanied by a parent or guardian. It’s time for a swingin’ show with the Grant High School Jazz Bands, featuring our own trumpet hero Thomas Barber, on loan from Pink Martini! There is also an early show at 5:30 PM with the Beaumont Middle School Jazz Bands.  This ticket will get you admission to BOTH SHOWS.  Doors open at 5:00 PM for the early show. Thunderstorm Artis with special guest Christopher Worth

Thunderstorm Artis is a singer/songwriter born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu. He learned at a very young age to play piano, guitar, harmonica and drums, from his father, Ron and mother, Victoria.He has shared stages with Train, John Legend, Zac Brown and Jack Johnson. However, he is most known for being a finalist on the NBC show “The Voice” Season 18. His music crosses many genres including Folk, Rock, Soul and Country. At his concerts he has been known to jump into Bowie, Beatles, Elton John and Leonard Cohen, as well as mixing in his own heartfelt originals.No matter what Thunderstorm performs, he does it from his heart. He does not consider his music as notes on a page but rather a window into his soul. His strong belief is that through music he can make the world a better place and lift the hearts of others.
