Oregon Symphony presents The Lullaby Project

Oregon Symphony presents The Lullaby Project
Tuesday, May 12
Doors: 6 pm Show: 6:30 pm
Join us for a heartwarming showcase of the deeply moving lullabies from this year’s Lullaby Project! This program pairs Oregon Symphony musicians and local singer-songwriters with parents experiencing houselessness or incarceration to create personal lullabies for their children, expressing their hopes and dreams for their children’s future. We are honored to share this year’s songs with our community.
The Lullaby Project—conceived by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute—uses the creative process of songwriting to improve well-being and child bonds with parents experiencing challenging life situations. Thank you to our partners at Path Home and the Family Preservation Project at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility for helping us bring this life-changing program to Portland.
