A recent addition to the Portland scene, Velvet Ice was born in 1973 at the iconic Follies in San Francisco, immersed in the vibrant world of Rock & Roll Hippie Burlesque. Captivated by the art form, she learned from the best, drawing inspiration from legendary performers such as Tori Lynn, Ellion Ness, Joi Jessard, and Blaze Starr. Velvet’s career has taken her across the globe—from LA and Vegas to Micronesia, Canada, and Seattle—where her acts, infused with the sounds of jazz, blues, ’70s funk, and Led Zeppelin, have wowed audiences everywhere. Velvet’s passion for burlesque is evident, with one fan even telling her, “You make me want to go home and make love to my wife!” Get ready for a night of electrifying entertainment, as Velvet Ice proves why she is a true burlesque legend alongside a stunning cast of burlesque icons.
